Although  makes many styles of jewellery, it's their beaded designs which they are best known for. Each piece is strung by hand in Japan using only the finest vintage and new beads in stone, glass and sterling silver. Through the use of natural stone and hand-made glass beads, each Mikia necklace and bracelet is unique unto itself.

This bracelet is made from medium sized 6mm stone beads in Spiderweb Obsidian, accented by glass beads. The hardware is cast from 925 Sterling Silver, with a Puka Shell to wrap the nylon cordage around for secure wearing.

Spiderweb Obsidian: This stone is created when lava cools very quickly and as the stone hardens little cracks and fractures appear.  The veins are later filled by mineral-rich fluids which harden to form the colorful spiderweb pattern.
