In the late 1790s, a style of necklace called a "festoon" came in to fashion. It is a lovely and distinctive style that features swags of pearl or chain that come together in central focal points. It's one of my favorite styles of jewelry!
This particular version is made with small white glass pearls and is linked with glass crystals in crown settings and a teardrop dangle pearl hanging from each. The central stone is 25mm and the stones to the side are 18mm, for some nice visual balance.
My version is shown here in red but this is also available in many other colors:
Pink Topaz
Orange Topaz
Citrine Yellow
Olive Green
Emerald Green
Clear Crystal
Aquamarine Blue
Sapphire Blue
Light Amethyst Purple
Ruby Red
This necklace is 15" long with a 3" extender chain for flexible sizing. The findings are all nickel free and gold plated.
